Invest Ottawa regularly engages the valuable assistance of experienced business mentors. They provide strategic advice to companies with a defined business problem on a case-by-case basis. These mentors supplement our in-house business advisory services and are veteran executives and entrepreneurs.

Mentorship may be general or specific depending on your company’s needs and requirements. Mentors are pre-qualified and are assigned to work with your company’s management team based on an appropriate match of skills and fit between the mentor and your team. Most of our mentors have started and grown successful global companies across several knowledge-based industries, raising significant funds from angel and venture capital investors. They have additional expertise in other areas like partnership development, mergers and acquisitions and initial public offerings.

Taking advantage of our vast networks, including partnerships with Ontario’s Ministry of Research and Innovation and MaRS, we can locate mentors with specialized skills inside and outside Ottawa and Eastern Ontario.
